TechFlow reports, on June 18, according to CryptoSlate, an international law enforcement operation has successfully dismantled "Archetyp Market," one of the world's largest darknet criminal marketplaces. The platform is estimated to have generated over 250 million euros (approximately $267 million) in sales, exclusively using the privacy cryptocurrency Monero (XMR) for transactions.
The operation was coordinated by multiple international law enforcement agencies, including the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Frankfurt, Germany, the German Federal Criminal Police, Spain's National Police, and the Netherlands' National Police. Additional raids targeting individuals linked to the platform were conducted in Germany and Sweden, resulting in the arrest of seven suspects in Sweden. The main suspects face charges under German law for operating a large-scale drug trafficking network.
