TechFlow, June 18 — According to Cryptonews, the Prosecutor's Office of Russia's Krasnoyarsk Krai region reported the seizure of an illegal cryptocurrency mining farm in the Nazarovo industrial zone. The facility spans 30,000 square meters and is equipped with multiple transformers, generators, and cooling systems, generating approximately 4.6 million rubles (about $58,700) per month. It operated by illegally connecting to the city's power grid. Investigations revealed that the site was registered as non-residential construction but was actually leased by a mining company to operate within a "non-existent building." The operation lacked electricity usage permits, occupied state-owned land, and posed fire safety hazards. The court has ordered the complete suspension of the mining farm until all violations are rectified.
