TechFlow news, June 17 — According to Bloomberg, Ubyx Inc., a startup co-founded by former Citigroup executive Tony McLaughlin, has raised $10 million in seed funding. The round was led by Galaxy Ventures, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Paxos, VanEck, and other institutions.
Ubyx is building a clearing system designed to connect stablecoin issuers with banks and fintech companies, reducing friction when users make payments with crypto tokens. The company said this would address current issues hindering the widespread adoption of stablecoins.
