TechFlow, June 13 — According to AXIOS, Israel's attack on Iran could be the single biggest blow to the Iranian regime since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, potentially drawing the U.S. into the conflict and destroying any hope of a nuclear deal. Although Trump himself has repeatedly stated opposition to Israeli strikes that could "blow up" negotiations, within hours after the attack began, Israeli officials revealed that everything was coordinated with Washington. Trump and his aides only publicly pretended to oppose the strike, while privately expressing no objection. One Israeli official claimed, "We clearly received a green light from the United States." They said the goal was to make Iran believe there was no imminent attack and to ensure that Iranian targets on Israel’s list would not relocate. In fact, Netanyahu’s aide revealed that although Trump attempted to stop Israel from launching the attack during a phone call on Monday, the call was actually part of pre-strike coordination. The U.S. side has not confirmed any of these claims. (Kitco)
