Overseas fans can vote for the inaugural TOP16 idols via the MEET48 app and official website. Final voting will close on August 2 at 12:00 UTC+8, with results revealed live during the WIPA Annual Grand Finale Performance and Awards Ceremony—held concurrently with the annual Youth Gala of global strategic partner SNH48 GROUP—at AsiaWorld–Arena in Hong Kong, China.
This marks the first-ever global pioneer attempt to integrate blockchain mechanisms into idol selection systems. Members from SNH48 GROUP, real-life idols primarily from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other Asian regions, AI Agent groups, and representative virtual artist collectives will all participate in this coronation event, competing for prestigious opportunities including solo singles, international stages, and game endorsements reserved for the TOP16 idols.
It is reported that overseas fans can vote through four methods: directly using $IDOL tokens, purchasing scorecards with $IDOL or diamonds, sending gifts in designated livestream rooms within the MEET48 app, or obtaining scorecards through other means.
