Plouffe brings extensive experience in politics and the tech industry, having served as a senior advisor during Obama's presidential campaign and in the White House. In recent years, he has advised technology companies including Uber, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and rival exchange Binance. He also worked with Kamala Harris' campaign team last year. His move to Coinbase further highlights the trend of the crypto industry attracting seasoned political figures.
