TechFlow news, June 12 — According to an article from the "C Labs Crypto Watch" official account, sources close to the X platform team revealed that the recent mass suspension of crypto KOLs may be related to a meme coin called PPMT on the GMGN platform. The X platform may believe that GMGN and its associated KOLs were promoting this meme coin, violating the platform's rules on misleading content. X's policies state that accounts may be temporarily or permanently suspended if reported for abusive behavior, such as posting misleading content or posing security risks.
An insider from GMGN stated that the company's operations remain normal and that they are communicating with the X platform team regarding the unblocking of accounts. It is understood that in the past, the X platform has repeatedly suspended specific accounts based on Elon Musk’s personal decisions, including critics and competitors.
Previous reports indicated that recently the X platform has successively frozen multiple accounts related to the crypto industry, including Killstar, Wang Xiaoer, Wizard, gake, the official GMGN account, and its founder haze.
