He stated he has not spoken to Musk by phone since June 2. In response to Musk's June 5 post claiming he had never seen the "Big Beautiful" bill, Johnson expressed disappointment and surprise. He said he had previously engaged in many constructive interactions and discussions with Musk about the bill to ensure Musk received accurate information.
