TechFlow news, June 5 — Official announcement: Plume Network, a full-stack blockchain and ecosystem built for real-world asset financing (RWAfi), has launched its public mainnet, Plume Genesis. The PLUME token is now live on the mainnet and can be used for gas payments, staking, governance participation, and ecosystem access. Users can now access multiple core features via the Plume website: yield-generating RWAfi assets such as Treasury bills, money market funds, yield-bearing stablecoins, and private credit funds— institutional-grade offerings; the Royco Vault, where users earn yield and dApp rewards simultaneously upon depositing assets; and cross-chain RWA yields enabled by Plume’s Skylink infrastructure, allowing RWA yields to interoperate across more than 20 networks.
Plume Network has secured $150 million in funding from investors including YZi Labs and Apollo Funds. Over the coming months, Plume plans to introduce additional asset classes and RWAfi use cases into its ecosystem, including tokenized art and precious metals.
