TechFlow, on June 3, Bitget officially launched the second annual global "Anti-Scam Month" campaign, continuing to promote awareness of cryptocurrency fraud prevention. According to Chainalysis data, losses from crypto scams in 2024 have exceeded $9.9 billion, a 24% increase compared to 2020. Starting in 2024, Bitget has designated June each year as "Anti-Scam Month," conducting systematic educational initiatives to help users enhance the security of their assets and personal privacy.
This year's campaign, themed "Smarter Eyes, Stronger Shields," combines gamified interactions, community stories, and security education to encourage users to strengthen their awareness and ability to identify risks. Bitget has simultaneously launched a new "Anti-Fraud" initiative page, featuring activities such as the "Smart Eye Avatar" campaign, a security blog series, and an anti-scam mini-game titled "Secret Agent Anti-Scam Squad."
On the collaboration front, Bitget is partnering with security firms including GoPlus, SlowMist, OneKey, BlockSec, and Security Alliance, as well as Web3 projects such as Bitget Wallet, Morph, and Tapswap, to jointly advance the development of a secure crypto education ecosystem. Additionally, Bitget will release the "2025 Anti-Scam Report" in collaboration with SlowMist and Elliptic, providing a systematic overview of current scam trends and pathways for upgrading defense mechanisms.
