TechFlow, May 30 — According to CoinDesk, Ross Ulbricht, founder of the darknet marketplace Silk Road, delivered a keynote speech at the Bitcoin 2025 conference in Las Vegas. This marks his first public appearance since being pardoned by President Trump and released from prison in January.
Ulbricht emphasized the importance of three core principles: freedom, decentralization, and unity. He stated that support from the crypto community enabled his release and expressed awe at technological advancements he has encountered over the past four months, including innovations in decentralized finance (DeFi), Web3, and artificial intelligence. He called on the crypto community to remain united and uphold the principle of decentralization to secure freedom in the future.
