TechFlow, May 28 — According to Decrypt, New York police have arrested a third suspect, William Duplessie, in connection with the kidnapping case involving a Bitcoin investor. Duplessie faces charges including first-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault, unlawful imprisonment, and criminal possession of a weapon.
Earlier, John Woeltz was arrested last Saturday, while another suspect, Beatrice Folchi, was temporarily released due to insufficient evidence. If convicted on all counts, both Duplessie and Woeltz could face a minimum of 15 years to life in prison.
