TechFlow, May 26 — According to Kyodo News citing Jinshi Data, the Japanese government plans to deploy 900 billion yen (approximately 6.3 billion USD) in national funds for an emergency relief program to mitigate the impact of U.S. tariffs. Kyodo reported that the government intends to finance the package—which includes measures such as lowering utility costs and providing financial aid to small businesses—using budget reserves (to be decided as early as Tuesday) and existing budget allocations.
