TechFlow news, on May 23, Binance founder CZ responded on social media to a negative report by The Wall Street Journal, denying the outlet's allegations that he acted as a "middleman" for Trump family's crypto project World Liberty Financial.
In response to The Wall Street Journal's claims that he "provided introductions for WLFI's overseas travel" and "connected Mr. Saqib with the WLFI team," CZ clearly clarified: he is not a "middleman" for anyone, did not make any introductions for WLFI's overseas travel, nor did he connect relevant individuals with the WLFI team. He emphasized that he first met Mr. Saqib in Pakistan, and that this individual already had prior connections with the WLFI team.
CZ believes certain forces in the United States are attempting to undermine efforts for the U.S. to become a cryptocurrency hub by attacking cryptocurrencies, global crypto leaders, and governments supporting cryptocurrencies.
