TechFlow, May 22 — According to DLnews, Volatility Shares launched the first XRP futures ETF ($XRPI) on Nasdaq today. The fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in financial instruments tied to XRP. The company also plans to launch a 2x leveraged XRP futures ETF product.
Previously, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) introduced XRP futures and micro XRP futures contracts on May 19, providing institutional investors with a regulated avenue to gain exposure to XRP. Analysts expect that under the more favorable regulatory stance of SEC's new chair Paul Atkins, a spot XRP ETF could be approved later this year, with market expectations placing the probability at 83%.
