TechFlow, May 20 — According to Jinshi Data, the three major U.S. stock indices opened lower today.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened down 38.73 points, or 0.09%, at 42,753.34 on Tuesday, May 20;
The S&P 500 Index opened down 19.75 points, or 0.33%, at 5,943.85 on Tuesday, May 20;
The Nasdaq Composite Index opened down 73.99 points, or 0.39%, at 19,141.47 on Tuesday, May 20.
According to Jinshi Data, at the opening of US stocks, the Dow Jones fell 0.13%, the S&P 500 index dropped 0.33%, and the Nasdaq declined 0.42%. Tesla (TSLA.O) opened up 1.6%, as Musk said he will continue serving as Tesla's CEO for the next five years. Major Chinese stocks traded in the US showed mixed performance: Bilibili (BILI.O) rose nearly 3% after earnings, JD.com (JD.O) and Alibaba (BABA.N) gained about 1%, while Vipshop (VIPS.N) fell over 8%.
