According to Politico, France's Ministry of the Interior said it will provide enhanced security measures for the country's leading cryptocurrency entrepreneurs and their families. The decision follows at least three kidnapping incidents targeting crypto industry leaders and their families since the beginning of this year. French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau stated that the new security measures include priority access to police emergency hotlines, home visits by police officers, and security briefings. Meanwhile, law enforcement personnel will receive "anti-money laundering training related to crypto assets." The cases have now been transferred to France's organized crime prosecution unit for investigation, and several people have already been arrested.
