TechFlow, May 16 — According to The Block, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York said it will drop some charges against Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm. The case is scheduled to go to trial on July 14.
The U.S. Department of Justice stated it will no longer pursue certain charges but will continue prosecuting allegations related to unlicensed money transmitting business. This move has drawn criticism from supporters within the cryptocurrency industry.
