TechFlow, May 15 — According to Farcaster co-founder Varun Srinivasan, the Farcaster front-end application Warpcast will officially be renamed to Farcaster. This rebranding includes renaming the mobile app to Farcaster, restoring the arch logo, and migrating the website from warpcast.com to farcaster.xyz.
Notably, all existing links will remain backward compatible, and users do not need to take any action. The update is expected to be completed within this week or next, depending on app store review timelines. The Warpcast team noted that during the initial phase of the update, some users might need to log back in on the web version and may experience minor issues, but these problems will be resolved quickly.
