TechFlow, May 13 — According to Decrypt, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has vetoed two cryptocurrency-related bills while signing into law a regulatory bill targeting cryptocurrency ATMs.
The two vetoed bills were SB 1373 (the Digital Asset Strategic Reserve Fund Act) and SB 1024 (a bill that would have allowed state government agencies to accept cryptocurrency payments).
The signed HB 2387 bill imposes strict regulations on cryptocurrency ATMs, including requirements for operators to display multilingual fraud warnings, set daily transaction limits (USD 2,000 for new users and USD 10,500 for existing users), provide 24/7 customer support, and comply with anti-money laundering protocols.
