TechFlow news, May 13 — According to the ThreeDAO official WeChat account, Wanxiang Blockchain founder Xiang Feng suggested during a private conversation with Vitalik that the Ethereum Foundation establish an office in Hong Kong.
Xiang Feng pointed out that blockchain developers are primarily concentrated in the English-speaking and Chinese-speaking worlds, and losing the Chinese market means losing a significant pool of global developer resources. Vitalik responded that the Ethereum Foundation's team in Berlin mainly focuses on core infrastructure development, but as Ethereum's foundational technology has largely matured, only optimization remains.
Xiang Feng added that China's technical departments, government agencies, and developer communities hold Ethereum technology in high regard, and he advised the Foundation not to distance itself from the Chinese market.
