TechFlow, May 13 — According to CNBC, U.S. President Trump said Monday morning that even if a long-term deal is not reached after the 90-day pause expires, tariffs on China will not return to 145%, but will increase significantly.
Earlier reports indicated that China and the U.S. reached a temporary trade agreement, under which both sides would substantially reduce tariffs. The U.S. would lower its tariffs on China from 145% to 30%, while China would cut tariffs on U.S. goods from 125% to 10%.
