TechFlow news, May 10 — According to The Daily Hodl, Kelly Benefits, a Maryland-based human resources firm in the United States, has filed documents with the Maine Attorney General's office disclosing a major cybersecurity incident affecting 413,032 Americans.
The investigation revealed that an unknown entity gained unauthorized access to the company's database between December 12 and December 17, 2024, stealing sensitive client information including names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, tax IDs, medical and health insurance records, and financial account data.
Kelly Benefits said it has notified affected individuals and is offering 12 months of credit monitoring and identity theft protection services. The company stated it currently has "found no evidence of any misuse of information related to this incident" and has reported the data breach to federal law enforcement and regulatory authorities.
