TechFlow, May 8 — Bitget has partnered with Avalanche to jointly support the development of India's local Web3 community. Under the collaboration, both parties will launch initiatives in Delhi and Bangalore, investing no less than $10 million to fund small grants, scholarships, hackathons, and technical workshops for local community activities. Delhi is India's most populous city, while Bangalore, known as the "Silicon Valley of India," hosts a large concentration of technical talent and developer resources.
In recent years, India's crypto market has rapidly gained momentum. According to data released by local exchange CoinSwitch, cryptocurrency investments in India continued growing in 2024, with Delhi accounting for 20.1% of investments, followed by Bangalore at 9.6% and Mumbai at 6.5%. This highlights India's strategic potential and community vitality within the global Web3 ecosystem.
