TechFlow news, May 7 — According to CoinDesk, Pepo, a key contributor to the Uniswap DAO, announced his resignation on Monday. As one of the top 20 delegates holding 455,000 UNI tokens, Pepo cited excessive power and lack of transparency within the Uniswap Foundation as reasons for his departure.
In March this year, the foundation received a $165 million grant from the DAO for ecosystem development, but has faced criticism for allegedly prioritizing its own interests over those of the DAO. Additionally, concerns have been raised by figures such as Billy Gao, Vice President of the Stanford Blockchain Club, regarding Uniswap Labs launching its own blockchain without prior discussion or approval from the DAO.
