TechFlow, May 6 — Ethereum developer @nero_eth published a discussion on delayed execution (EIP-7886) and data availability optimization solutions. This proposal aims to improve the block validation mechanism by allowing validators to confirm block validity through preliminary checks before transactions are fully executed. The research team has proposed multiple implementation approaches, including optimistic validation, pre-validation with pre-charging, and Coinbase-based upfront payment. The new mechanism has the potential to enhance network efficiency, but trade-offs regarding user experience, construction complexity, and fork choice must be considered. The proposal has received feedback from several core Ethereum developers and is currently still in the design and optimization phase.
