TechFlow, May 5 — According to SEC filings, Semler Scientific (SMLR) increased its Bitcoin holdings last week.
The company purchased 167 bitcoins for $16.2 million, at an average price of approximately $97,000 per bitcoin. The purchase was primarily funded through the sale of common stock, under which the company sold 1.166 million shares under its at-the-market offering program dated April 15, raising $39.8 million.
Currently, Semler Scientific holds 3,634 bitcoins with a total investment of $322.3 million and an average purchase price of $88,668. Based on the current bitcoin price of approximately $94,000, the market value of its holdings exceeds $340 million.
