Through this collaboration, Bitget Wallet users can now pay with USDT and USDC at designated online and offline merchants, while merchants can receive real-time stablecoin settlements without needing to deploy blockchain infrastructure. The service currently supports thousands of pilot transactions and will expand into sectors such as retail, travel, and e-commerce, gradually adding support for more cryptocurrencies and wallet integrations. This partnership marks a key step in Bitget Wallet’s PayFi strategy, aiming to drive practical adoption of crypto assets in everyday spending. During the pilot phase, registered merchants will enjoy waived settlement fees and early access to new features.
