TechFlow, April 30 — According to The Block, Bunq, Europe's second-largest digital bank, announced a partnership with cryptocurrency exchange Kraken to offer cryptocurrency trading services to users of its banking app. The service officially launched on April 29 in the Netherlands, France, Spain, Ireland, Italy, and Belgium.
The service, named "Bunq Crypto," has obtained compliance certification under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and is registered as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP). Users can trade over 300 cryptocurrencies on the platform, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. Bunq plans to gradually expand the service to the entire European Economic Area, as well as the UK and U.S. markets.
