TechFlow news, April 29 — According to Fortune, Miden, a privacy-focused blockchain project founded by former Meta engineers, has announced the completion of a $25 million seed funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz's crypto fund, Hack VC, and 1kx. Leveraging zero-knowledge proof technology, Miden claims to enable transaction privacy without sacrificing performance, addressing the trade-off between privacy and efficiency faced by traditional blockchains. Polygon Labs, which incubated the project, did not participate in this funding round but has agreed to allocate approximately 10% of Miden’s future cryptocurrency tokens to Polygon token holders.
