TechFlow, April 29 — According to an official announcement from Loopscale Labs, progress has been made regarding the security incident that occurred on Saturday.
At 2:19 a.m. (ET) today, approximately 10,000 WSOL (worth about $1.48 million) was returned to the Loopscale wallet; at 3:14 p.m. (ET), an additional 4,463 WSOL (worth about $660,000) was returned. One day earlier, 5,000 WSOL (worth about $740,000) had already been returned.
Loopscale stated it is working toward a final resolution and will continue to provide updates.
Previous report: The Loopscale protocol was hacked, resulting in the theft of approximately 5.7 million USDC and 1,200 SOL. After negotiations, the hacker expressed willingness to return the stolen funds.
