TechFlow news, April 28 — According to The Block, the Solana Policy Institute announced the appointment of Rachel Green Horn as Chief Marketing Officer, effective Monday. Green Horn previously served as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at the Filecoin Foundation, spent eight years as Executive Director of Communications at the Consumer Technology Association, and held roles at Protocol Labs. The newly established crypto advocacy organization is led by Miller Whitehouse-Levine, and former Blockchain Association CEO Kristin Smith will join in May as President. The institute will focus on influencing draft legislation around stablecoins and market structure, and collaborate with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s newly formed crypto task force and leadership at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to advance cryptocurrency within the regulatory landscape.
