TechFlow, April 28 — According to a post by Ethereum Foundation Executive Director Tomasz K. Stańczak, ongoing discussions about EOF will not affect the scheduled Ethereum Pectra network upgrade on May 7.
Stańczak emphasized that the Pectra upgrade does not include and is not planned to include any EOF-related components, and will proceed as originally scheduled. The current EOF discussions primarily concern the next network upgrade named Fusaka, which has not yet set a specific date but is expected to occur in the third or fourth quarter of 2025 (around September or October).
