TechFlow, on April 28, according to the official WeChat account of Sunwu Court in Heilongjiang Province, the court handled a total of 12 money laundering cases involving cryptocurrency transactions in 2024.
In one typical case, suspect Xiao Yang conducted nearly 10,000 USDT trading transactions via WeChat within three months, with a total transaction volume of approximately 120 million RMB, and gained illegal profits of over 440,000 RMB.
The court ruled that Xiao Yang was guilty of concealing and covering up the proceeds of crime. As he played a secondary role in the case and voluntarily confessed and showed remorse, he received a lenient sentence.
