TechFlow news, on April 27, Binance founder Zhao Changpeng (CZ) recently stated that centralized exchanges (CEX) should adopt a permissionless listing mechanism similar to decentralized exchanges (DEX), sparking heated discussion in the community. Some community members pointed out a contradiction in this view: while emphasizing the protection of user interests, advocating for looser listing standards could lead to an increase in low-quality projects and market manipulation, which would harm user rights.
In response to these concerns, Zhao Changpeng replied on April 26, "We should not block users' freedom of choice, but we should strongly prevent those who intend to harm users."
