TechFlow, April 26 — According to the Global Times, U.S. President Trump admitted in an exclusive interview with TIME magazine that his campaign claim of "ending the Russia-Ukraine conflict on my first day in office" was merely an exaggerated statement made "as a joke." Trump referred to the over-three-year-long conflict as "Biden's war," and said Ukraine provoked the conflict with Russia in pursuit of NATO membership, adding that Crimea should remain under Russian control. He also stated on social media that negotiations with both Russia and Ukraine are progressing smoothly, and that the parties are "very close" to reaching an agreement.
