TechFlow news, April 25 — According to the Sui Foundation, Sui has announced a collaboration with financial platform xMoney and crypto application xPortal to launch a digital Mastercard supporting SUI tokens, now available in Europe.
Users can add the card to Apple Pay and Google Pay, leveraging Sui’s significant advantages in speed, throughput, and seamless user experience to further enable everyday spending with crypto assets. Physical cards are expected to be released later this year.
The launch of this new product is driven by xPortal's integration of Sui into its wallet serving 2.5 million users, offering features including buying, selling, swapping, staking, and payments, while xMoney provides compliant payment infrastructure.
This partnership positions Sui as one of the few Layer 1 blockchains to support frictionless real-world payments and financial services through a fully compliant platform. Going forward, Sui plans to expand into the U.S. and global markets, with additional products to be launched on Sui Basecamp.
