TechFlow, April 24 — According to CryptoPotato, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said during a Q&A session at an event on Wednesday that Ethereum may struggle to survive over the next 10–15 years.
Hoskinson pointed out three major structural flaws in Ethereum: the wrong account model, virtual machine, and consensus model. He specifically criticized the "parasitic" nature of Layer-2 solutions, arguing that these networks do not solve Ethereum's scalability issues but instead drain value from the mainnet.
He compared Ethereum's situation to early innovators like Myspace and Blackberry, predicting that users will gradually migrate to other platforms, particularly Bitcoin's decentralized finance ecosystem.
