TechFlow, April 24 — According to The Block, U.S. prosecutors submitted a letter to a district judge on Tuesday recommending that Avi Eisenberg, the attacker of Mango Markets, be sentenced to 78 to 97 months (approximately 6.5–8 years) in prison.
Eisenberg previously claimed his actions were legitimate trading strategies, but prosecutors argue he knew his conduct was illegal. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 1.
Earlier report, Solana-based DeFi platform Mango Markets suffered a hack in October 2022, resulting in over $100 million in bad debt.
