TechFlow, April 24 — According to IBTimes, twelve U.S. states, including Arizona, filed a joint lawsuit on Wednesday challenging the Trump administration's tariff policy. The lawsuit argues that the president does not have the authority to impose tariffs without congressional approval, stating that the 1977 law cited by Trump does not permit him to use emergency measures to levy tariffs. Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes called the tariff plan "economically reckless" and "illegal."
