TechFlow, March 19 — According to Jinshi Data citing CBS News, multiple sources revealed that due to the excessively high tariffs imposed by the Trump administration on Chinese goods potentially causing supply chain crises, internal discussions have begun within the administration about forming a working group to urgently address these issues in case breakthroughs fail to materialize through negotiations with the Chinese government.
The sources said specific details regarding the formation of this group have not yet been finalized, but the working group may include Vice President Vance, Treasury Secretary Bessent, Commerce Secretary Lutnick, White House National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett, Chair of the White House Council of Economic Advisers Stephen Miran, and U.S. Trade Representative Jamison Greer.
