TechFlow news, April 16 — Alex, co-founder of ZkSync, posted that "an operator's private key was compromised, but the ZkSync project code was not leaked. This is precisely why zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) are the ultimate solution. Trust math, not operators."
Alex stated he initiated an investigation immediately upon receiving community feedback. Although most Layer2 project tokens have recently faced downward price pressure, ZKsync has remained relatively stable. Nonetheless, the team still holds legally binding commitments to investors, partners, and members.
Previous report, ZKsync's airdrop contract was attacked, minting approximately 111 million ZK tokens.
