TechFlow news, April 15 — According to an official announcement, Aave and ether.fi released a preliminary proposal on April 15, 2025, to create a dedicated Aave market on EVM L2 networks to support ether.fi's Cash credit card program. This collaboration aims to provide users with everyday payment solutions through DeFi technology, bridging on-chain credit with real-world spending scenarios. Per the proposal, the revenue-sharing model will allocate 20% of the interest rate spread to the Aave DAO during the initial six months, adjusting to 15% thereafter. Deployment of the L2 market and public launch of the card program are planned for Q2 2025.
