TechFlow, April 15 — According to Decrypt, Sergei Potapenko and Ivan Turõgin, Estonian co-founders of cryptocurrency mining company HashFlare, received notice from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) ordering them to leave the United States "immediately," or face enforcement action. This directive directly conflicts with a court order requiring them to remain in King County, Washington. The two pleaded guilty in February this year to fraud charges related to fake cryptocurrency mining contracts and agreed to forfeit approximately $400 million in assets.
