TechFlow news, April 14 — According to an official announcement, Tether, the largest company in the digital asset industry, announced it will deploy its existing and future mining hashpower on the OCEAN mining pool founded by Bitcoin core developer Luke Dashjr. This move aims to support the resilience, transparency, and decentralization of the Bitcoin network. The OCEAN mining pool enables miners to create their own block templates through the open-source DATUM protocol, reducing reliance on centralized entities. Tether will deploy OCEAN's DATUM Gateway globally, including in underdeveloped regions such as Africa, to ensure high-performance mining operations and geographic diversity, further reinforcing its commitment to the decentralization of Bitcoin's infrastructure.
