We need our pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and electronics produced in the United States." His remarks will heighten corporate uncertainty over Trump's tariff measures, which have seen a series of reversals and last week triggered a massive sell-off in the $29 trillion U.S. Treasury market. Additionally, Lutnick mentioned that tariffs on the pharmaceutical industry will be implemented next month or within two months.
