TechFlow news, April 12 — According to Bloomberg, Teucrium Investment Advisors LLC has launched the first exchange-traded fund (ETF) linked to XRP. Named the Teucrium 2x Long Daily XRP ETF, with ticker symbol XXRP, the fund will provide investors with twice the daily return of XRP through swap mechanisms, carrying a management fee of 1.85%.
Bloomberg senior ETF strategist Eric Balchunas noted this is an unusual development, as it marks the first time a leveraged product has become the initial ETF for a new asset. As of March 2025, nine firms—including Bitwise, ProShares, WisdomTree, Grayscale, and Franklin Templeton—have filed applications for XRP ETF products.
