TechFlow news, April 12 — According to an official announcement by Binance, Binance Futures will adjust the funding rate settlement frequency for the USDⓈ-M ORCAUSDT perpetual contract from every 4 hours to every 2 hours, effective from 08:00 (UTC) on April 12, 2025. The announcement also stated that, to mitigate risks arising from extreme market volatility, Binance Futures may implement additional protective measures at its discretion and without prior notice, including but not limited to adjusting maximum leverage, position value, maintenance margin rates across levels, updating funding rates, and modifying the price index composition.
