TechFlow, April 10 — According to an official announcement, the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced on April 9, 2025, that it has granted a Payment Service Provider (PSP) license to BPay Global B.S.C.(c), a payment services company under the Binance Group. The license will allow BPay Global to offer fiat services, including deposits, withdrawals, and custody. Users will be able to set up e-wallets and deposit fiat currency via bank transfers and debit/credit cards. This is the company's first PSP license, enabling fiat on- and off-ramps for users, and also represents one of Bahrain's initiatives to support the development of its digital payment ecosystem.
