TechFlow, April 8 — According to Reuters, a Nigerian court has postponed the hearing date in Binance's tax case to April 30.
Binance's lawyer Chukwuazom requested the court to revoke the previous electronic service order, arguing that the tax authority sent legal documents to Binance—registered in the Cayman Islands—without prior court authorization.
Previous report, Nigerian authorities sued Binance, accusing it of operating illegally and demanding compensation for economic losses and unpaid taxes totaling $81 billion.
